Refund Policy

All fees charged by CricBid are tournament participation fees and software subscription fees for access to our cricket management technology platform. These fees are not entry fees for any gambling, wagering, contest, or game of chance. CricBid is a 100% skill-based sports-technology platform regulated under the Indian IT Act, 2000.
1. Scope
This Refund Policy applies to all paid subscription plans (Starter, Professional, Enterprise) purchased on the CricBid platform at cricbid.in. It is governed by the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.
2. Annual Subscription Refunds
- A pro-rated refund for the unused portion of an annual subscription is available within 30 days of the original purchase date.
- After 30 days from the purchase date, no refund is available for annual plans.
- Pro-rated refund = (Unused days ÷ 365) × Annual subscription amount paid.
3. Monthly Subscription Refunds
- Monthly subscriptions are non-refundable for partial months.
- Access continues until the end of the current paid billing period after cancellation.
- You will not be charged for subsequent billing cycles once you cancel.
4. Service Disruption Credits
If a platform-side technical issue (not caused by your internet connection, device, or any third-party service outside CricBid's control) makes the service inaccessible for more than 72 consecutive hours, you are entitled to a credit for those days, applied to your next invoice. This credit is not redeemable as cash.
5. Non-Refundable Items
- One-time add-on purchases (e.g., extra storage, additional tournaments).
- Monthly subscription fees for partial months after cancellation.
- Annual subscription fees after the 30-day refund window has passed.
- Fees for plans already used (e.g., if you have already conducted tournaments under the plan).
6. How to Request a Refund
- Email billing@cricbid.in with subject: "Refund Request — [Your Registered Mobile Number]"
- Include your transaction ID, the plan you purchased, and the reason for the refund request.
- We will acknowledge your request within 48 hours.
- Approved refunds are processed within 7 business days to the original payment source (UPI, card, net banking, or wallet).
7. Payment Gateway Refunds
Payments are processed via Razorpay and Cashfree, both RBI-authorised payment aggregators. Once a refund is approved by CricBid, the processing time for the amount to reflect in your account depends on your bank or payment method (typically 3–7 business days for cards; immediate to 1 business day for UPI).
8. Grievance Redressal
If your refund request is not resolved to your satisfaction, contact our Grievance Officer (details below). We resolve all grievances within 30 days as required under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
